Calvin Henry Howard (March 24, 1911 – September 10, 1993) was an American cartoon story artist, animator, and director, renowned for his work at Walter Lantz Productions and Warner Bros. Cartoons. He also provided the voice for Gabby Goat in the 1941 animated short Get Rich Quick Porky and for Meathead Dog in Screwball Squirrel. Howard began his animation career in the late 1920s as a story man and animator for Walter Lantz Productions. In 1929, he joined Walt Disney Animation. Throughout his career, he collaborated with several pioneering animators, including Max Fleischer and Ub Iwerks. From 1930 to 1933, Howard served as a story man for Iwerks and later returned to Lantz.
