Gavin Gordon was an American actor born on April 7, 1901, in Chicora, Mississippi. He began his acting career on stage at the age of nineteen and transitioned to film in the late 1920s. Gordon gained prominence as Greta Garbo's leading man in "Romance" (1930). He is perhaps best remembered for portraying Lord Byron in "Bride of Frankenstein" (1935). Throughout his career, he appeared in numerous films, including "Mystery of the Wax Museum" (1933) and "The Scarlet Empress" (1934). Gordon continued acting in both film and television until 1968. He passed away on April 6, 1983, in Canoga Park, California.
